Could you offer just 3 hours per month on a regular basis? Morning/afternoon stewards and tearoom helpers needed. Several slots available.
Please call 01953 600205 or email whm.info@wymondhamheritagemuseum.co.uk
100th Bomb Group Memorial Museum
Join us today to become part of the legacy. 100th Bomb Group Memorial Museum is completely run by volunteers and we rely on their dedication and good will to help preserve our site and welcome visitors. No prior knowledge is required and all our opportunities are flexible to suit individual needs and interests. Just a few hours of your time can make a real difference.
We are looking for friendly, hardworking, reliable people to volunteer with us over the coming season. We are specifically looking for volunteers who have experience managing teams as well as general secretarial and administrative work. At present we really need people to volunteer in our shop as well, serving tea and coffee and using our till to sell merchandise, along with welcoming our visitors.
For more information please contact info@100bgmus.org.uk
We’re open weekends and bank holidays from March – October 10am-5pm. Additional opening Wednesdays from May – September 10am-5pm.

Diss Museum
Diss Museum might be small but it is jam-packed with local history, run by passionate volunteers. A great little museum! Last year we hit the headlines for increasing our visitor numbers to a record figure of 4,588 which we hope to beat this year.
If you could spare some time as a volunteer steward to help us keep our magical museum open every day from 11 am to 3 pm, March to end October we would be grateful.
Any time would help: whatever you can spare. Some of our stewards come in for just two hours, as and when they can. There would be no pressure for you to commit to a certain amount of hours per week.
It is a pleasant duty, you meet lots of visitors with interesting stories to tell and you will be helping to run the town’s main tourist attraction. No experience needed!
Please pop in for an informal chat and pick up an application form, or text/call Jan Smith on 07746 586799 or email fodimus@gmail.com for further information.
Museum of the Broads
We are looking for volunteers to join our team to take on the key role of welcoming visitors to our museum. If you have excellent interpersonal and basic IT skills this is for you! We have a really straightforward electronic till which is used for entrance fees, boat trips, the shop and event bookings. We will of course give full training on both the till and working at the museum. In return you will be part of an enthusiastic team and gain valuable experience as well as some new skills. What’s more it’s a great opportunity to meet new people.
If you are interested in joining our jolly team at historic Stalham Staithe please contact Nicola Hems at curator@museumofthebroads.org.uk.

St. Seraphim’s Trust, Little Walsingham – Garden & Display Welcomers
St. Seraphim’s comprises an Orthodox Pilgrim Chapel in what was once Walsingham’s railway station, housing Icon, Pilgrim and Railway Heritage. Since its founding in 1966, St. Seraphim’s has specialised in the production of traditional hand painted Icons. It also has a sizeable garden alongside the buildings which since 2010 has been developed into a new resource for the people of Walsingham and beyond. The Quiet Garden is open for the use of the community as well as visitors and pilgrims as a space for quiet and relaxation. We aim for it to appeal to as wide a range of people as possible and for those with a variety of needs to be able to enjoy and take benefit from the natural surroundings.
In order to extend our opening to the public, we are looking for people who enjoy spending time in the garden and gallery while assisting others to do so. Garden and Display Welcomers are needed. We warmly invite you to visit, explore the unique heritage of St. Seraphim’s and meet the team.
