Experience a world of tanks and armoured vehicles

Norfolk Tank Museum offers visitors an excitingly, hands-on experience of tanks, military vehicles and equipment. Visitors can climb aboard and even experience the confined inner workings of a tank operating some of the controls. And on the museum’s off-road track, there’s the opportunity of going for a ride in a tracked or wheeled military vehicle.

Volunteers are on-hand to tell you stories about the tanks and their meticulous restoration. The vehicle collection includes WW1 Mk IV replica Deborah II built for the Guy Martin WW1 Tank Build,Centurion and Chieftain tanks, surface to air missile systems, scout cars and amphibious trucks. Inside the large hanger there are also displays of smaller items such as guns and kit and also real uniforms to try on.

The museum has a tea room serving a selection of drinks and light snacks.
